Adult Education: Rich But Not Greedy
Jewish Perspectives on Income Inequality
With Dr. Bruce Katz
Sunday, December 17 from 10:00am-11:30am
Between 1979 and 2013, America’s wealthiest citizens (top 1%) saw their incomes grow by more than 240%, while the lowest fifth of wage earners experienced a rise of only 10%. Statistics like this one highlight a growing level of income inequality and increasingly dominate arguments between liberals and conservatives. This seminar will investigate Jewish perspectives on the topic and will challenge your assumptions.
