Israel Belongs to Me Too: Why it Matters
Sunday, October 27 at 9:30am
Guest Speaker: Rabbi Reuven Greenvald
Presented by the Israel Engagement Committee (formerly ARZA)
As Israel has been in the news more and more lately, many us have begun to consider more fully why Israel matters to the entire Jewish community. The Israel Engagement Committee is pleased to present on Sunday morning October 27, 2019 at 9:30 AM Rabbi Reuven Greenvald speaking on: Israel Belongs to Me Too: Why It Matters
Rabbi Greenvald is Director of Israel Engagement for the Union for Reform Judaism. His prior experience in re-thinking Israel engagement comes from work on innovative initiatives with the North American program of the Jewish Agency for Israel. He is also a regular contributor to the URJ’s “Ten Minutes of Torah” on issues related to Israel. He works closely with Rabbi Josh Weinberg, VP for Israel at the Union and head of ARZA.
This should be an exciting opportunity for members of Temple Emanuel to exchange ideas about Israel from a Reform perspective. The talk will of course be preceded by bagels and coffee.
$5 for ARZA members and $7 for non-members will be collected at the door
Please mark your calendars and make your reservation at email@example.com
