Worship

Temple Emanuel’s worship is participatory, eclectic, comforting, and meaningful. We use the Mishkan Tefilah prayerbook and pray in a mixture of Hebrew and English. Our services are designed to accommodate those who have come to celebrate with us, to seek comfort, and to find ways to reach out in prayer and song to God and inwardly to the soul.

Cantor Lindsay leads us musically with a variety of tunes ranging from ancient to modern, from classical reform tunes to nusach, folk music, and niggunim (melodies without words). Our worship often includes lay speakers and leaders, our wonderful adult choir, and our Mizmor l’Shabbat band. Whatever your worship style or needs are, we hope you’ll feel at home here.
