MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE!A CELEBRATION IN HONOR OF CANTOR ROSALIE BOXT
Welcome to a month of Celebrating Cantor Boxt’s retirement from our congregation. Come one, Come all! We hope to see all Temple members at one or many of our upcoming events. For more information, visit the "Make A Joyful Noise!" page of the Temple website: Click Here
Of course we couldn’t do this without the support of the entire congregation. Your generous donations to underwrite Cantor Boxt’s celebrations will help cover the costs and leave a lasting gift to the Temple in honor of Cantor Boxt. Donations are welcome for any amount and at any time and all donations to "Make a Joyful Noise!" will be listed in the Kol Kore.

Green Team—Temple Emanuel’s environmental working group, formerly known as Green Shalom—is back in action! Our first activities of the new year will be preparation for and participation in two upcoming protest marches, the Science March on Saturday April 22 and the People’s Climate March on Saturday, April 29.Climate change is one of the greatest challenges humanity has ever faced. It is a march for climate, justice, and jobs. It advocates not only for the planet we share—and the only one we will ever have—but also for justice and economic issues associated with its degradation.Temple Emanuel is an official supporter of the People’s Climate March. In a partnership with Interfaith Power and Light, we plan to join other Jewish communities in protest. Green Team or not, all Temple Emanuel members are invited to support the People’s Climate March in any way they can. Here are a few ideas:
We hope to see many of you at these events! If you have any questions, write Amir and Marci Roth at AmirandMarciRoth@gmail.com.
