"We believe that contributing to the Rabbinic Endowment is our small
way of ensuring that our warm and embracing community will
continue to be there for future generations to come."
Jana and Jeremy Sharp
Temple Emanuel Members
The Temple Emanuel Endowment was created in 2007 in honor of Rabbi Stone's 18 years of service to Temple Emanuel. When the Endowment principal reaches $1,000,000, 1% of the interest earned will be used to underwrite rabbinic services expenses freeing up monies for other programs and projects.
The Endowment is only successful if everyone contributes in some way now so that monies will be available in the future. Ways to contribute are:
- Annual High Holiday appeal giving
- Donating to the Endowment in honor/memory of a person or to mark a special event
- Multi-year pledges
- Planned giving - become a member of L'dor V'dor
As we begin 2014-2015 the Endowment is half way to its $1,000,000 goal. Let's do all we can to ensure that our Clergy's legacy continues for our children and our children's children.
To make a donation to the Endowment, please contact Dianne Neiman in the Temple Office at 301-942-2000 or use the following link to make a donation online: Sustaining Our Traditions.
